What this is

Maker Numbers is a free estimating tool for handmade sellers. You enter your own numbers and it shows what a sale would leave you after Etsy fees, production costs and the value you place on your own time.

It is provided as it is, with no account, no payment and no service commitment. We may change, pause or withdraw it at any time.

Estimates, not statements of account

This calculator provides estimates for planning and educational purposes. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Etsy, Inc. It does not provide tax, accounting or legal advice. Fees may change and may vary by seller location, order, tax treatment and Etsy services used.

The result depends entirely on the numbers you enter and on fee rates we verified on July 28, 2026. Etsy can change its fees at any time and applies them per order and per country. Always verify against your Etsy Payment account before acting on a figure from this page.

Nothing on this site is tax, accounting, financial or legal advice, and nothing here creates a professional relationship. Sales tax treatment, deductible costs and how you record income all depend on your situation and your jurisdiction. Early access and planned products

Some sections describe products we are still building and show a planned price. No payment is taken on this site, joining a list is not a purchase, and a planned price is not an offer. Features, timing and price may change or may never ship.

Intellectual property

The text, design and code of this site belong to Maker Numbers. The numbers you enter belong to you; we never receive them. You are welcome to share a result you copied from the calculator.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maker Numbers is provided without warranties of any kind, including accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
